I think this blog can be improved a bit. So far it has been deriving all its content from a single source and functions as (more or less) a broadcaster of one person's thoughts. This has a couple of problems:
1) It takes a lot to create new and interesting content
2) It is not interactive and does not leverage the interesting topics that you may want to discuss
3) It leads to limited readership
Here are a few suggestions on how these roadblocks can be overcome:
1) A redoubled effort from me to talk / write about more contemporary and current topics
2) Incorporation of third party content (acknowledged, of course!!)
2) Suggestions from you on what could be discussed (this could be in comments to any post / through mail to me directly)
What do you think? Should we try this for a couple of posts and see where it goes? Let me know...

have you observed that people respond better if the issue is emotive or related to something personal? a subjective viewpoint elicits passionate debate.
who cares about facts which one can look up on google, who bothers about politics, who cares about issues which one can neither relate to nor one is directly affected by?
I am simply amazed by how much content there is on blogs on infinite topics .. sometimes, it makes me wonder though, is it fair to be spending so much time surfing/ creating blogs, especially in office time ? Also, how does one navigate through the ocean of information and PoVs ? Most importantly, how much impact do blogs/web content have on our actions, really ?
Would this be a topic worth a post from you ? :)

all depends on what you want to do with your blog...
If you want to make interesting reading for other people....Then you might like some kind of reader-inclusion or feedback mechanism..
if you want to use the blog as an outlet of your own thoughts..or as a scribble-pad for self...then you need not bother about audience (they might still come if they find the blog interesting)
Similarly, leasing the audience can be overlooked if the purpose of the blog is to give your friends a place to catch up with you (in an offline way)
This prompts an interesting question-
What are all the different uses that a blog can be put into?????
